Unconditional Acceptance

Ideas to share that offer your child unconditional acceptance:
-I love you exactly the way you are
-You are my favorite (4) year old in the entire world
-If I could have any child(ren) in the world, I would pick you
-Even when you disobey and don't cooperate, I still love you and I know you'll do better next time
-You are a valuable member of our family
-I don't know what I'd do without you!
As children experience our unconditional love and acceptance they naturally want to do things to show their love and cooperation in return!  They can act out of a secure feeling of acceptance.  Try sharing words like this with your child on a daily basis.
