Thankfulness Chain

Take a break from your holiday preparations this week to do an activity straight from our activity library!

Thankfulness Chain

Teach your child how to be "Thankful" with this fun activity!

Cut rectangular pieces of colorful construction paper. Place the paper along with crayons and clear tape on the kitchen table.

Encourage your child to make a 'Thankfulness Chain' by coloring a picture of something they are thankful for on each of the paper strips. You can help your child write the 'thankful' word if interested. Each day at mealtime, encourage your child to add to the chain and enjoy watching it grow!

While this activity is recommended for children with a developmental age of at least four years, you can work together as a family at any age.

Read more about this activity in our activity library.
