Today is the first day of kindergarten for my granddaughters Paige and Caitlin. The memories of my daughter and son as well as my first day as a Kindergarten teacher have reappeared! As a teacher, I remember the students that were prepared to listen in class, ready to learn. As you speak with your child, make an effort to make direct eye contact. Encourage your child to do the same. Your kindergarten teacher will thank you!
